ABOUT AASTUDIO

When I'm not studying, I'm at the gym or at the park or watching a movie or learning Spanish or eating something delicious

When I was 14, I booked my first paid shoot. The first paid shoot for a photographer is a huge milestone; your client is trusting that their hard-earned money is worth your skill and creativity.

As much as photography is an art, it is also a business!

I started off with portraiture and taught myself the foundations of composition and lighting. I started building a client base in Kentucky and made so many friends through my photography business. In my early 20s, I dug deeper into my style and started creating pictures instead of just taking them. I was nervous to venture from strictly commercial photography but the feedback was insane. I learned I can make art by looking at people through my lens.

My style of portrait photography depends on who steps in front of my camera. Come with me if you want raw and real photos. Anyone can take a picture of you; I am trying to create a gallery that feels like you.

Balancing school and this business is definitely a challenge but I am equally passionate about dentistry and photography so dropping either is never an option. I am excited to begin this new chapter of photography in New York City.
